performance
Last December, Mike found me with the help of Mr. Butler who has graduated.He said he was the leading singer of the band GCA. Now most of the members of the band are graduating. As a matter of fact the band exists only in name. with the aim of rebuilding the band, he came back from Canada during the Christmas holiday. I accepted his invitation to join the team but really hastily.Mike continued to be the leading singer and guitarist while I was the co-guitarist-player. Jordan in 10A became the bassist, Anthony as another guitarist and Liu Xingchen as the drummer. We took part in a Christmas performance within one month of our rebuilding. Otherwise, I don’t want to put much emphasis on that performance what I am going to talk about is the coming performance in the NFLS Foreign Language Festival. The two founders left china shortly after the holiday. Anthony also left because of some studying problems. Only two of us left. The major problem was how to how find the drummer and the guitarist. Through great efforts, Jordan found Mark who was in 11th grade. I found Zorro and made him the temporary bassist. Another day I chatted with my classmate online. He told me that vice president Only wanted us to perform in the festival. I heisted for a while because I didn’t know whether our band were competent. I discussed with my teammate. Finally they agreed. Then we started our difficult rehearsal journey.We started with Enter Sandman. Lacking of instruction, it became a mission impossible for us. The song was beyond our ability. So we changed into Zombie. We had a good time in the practice room. We rehearsed together, played together and ate together. What was more important, we gave a successful performance. I am very grateful to meet these good friends.

On May 2nd, sandy and I went to a catholic church. It's a small church. About 100seats, but kinds of people went to this church and listen father’s pray. This church that we went to was raising money for there new church. So I donated 200 RMB for this church because I’m a cathonic,too. Father is a 70 years old man, he has short white hair and wearing a suit. He told us that the most important part of Catholics is respect god. He said that not only you say that you respect god, but also use your behavior to show that you respect the god. He said there are lot of avidence that government give us to prove that there is a flood happen in the earth.It means the story of Noah’s ark. such as coal and oil. And scientist found that there is a huge thing seat in Arctic, just like a ark!Holy bible says: In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the aerth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, let there be light, and there was light. And God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness he calld Night, And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.It means that everything that we have is given by God, We need to respect God, love God, do things that good for people, God will give us a beautiful future/
Vitas Nanjing concert
Yesterday, Sandy and her grandfather and I went to NanJing Olympic center to watch Vitas’s poformance. There are lot of people here when we arrived.fortunatly we got the VIP tickets, so we can see vitas easily.
The poformence begin at 7:30. When Vitas appered in front of our eyes, a lot of people behind me were crazy and shout his name.I fell a little confiues about that because I don’t know why people will be carzy by a singer like that. In fact, I almost don't know anything about that singer.But when he began to sang. I totally change my mind.
His voice is so beautiful that I can not imagine.His voice is high and let me feel very comfortable,at first he wearing a red clothes, looks fashion.The first song names:.it's a beautiful song.then he sang a chinese song, his unique voice attracts me.

On the stage, there also had a wonderful band. The band includes a guitarist, a drummer, a bass player and so on. While Vitas was singing, there were many dancers as well. They all dance very well. Once, Vitas invited a kid to dance with him. They acted like robots and were very interesing.
I really love this concert and I plan to go to Vitas concert again with my sister because she is a big fan of Vitas.
volunteer work
On April, I'm going to be a volunteer to meet Danmark students. It's Sunday morning. Mike ma and I went to school together, we arrived at school about 8:30. There is just a few people here. Danmark student’s also didn’t arrived. But I saw some international students waitting in front of the school gate.I didn’t know if they are danmark students. So Ms. Bartell told me ask them. I went to the school gate and said: Excuse me, are your Danmark international students? The answer is yes. So I let them followed me to go to the GCA’s building. I’m so surprised that the Denmark student’s were so “big”. It means they almost university students. All of these students are taller than me, include the female leader--- Ms. Bartell’s best friend.
At 9:00am, all of the volunteers went to school. We are having a short meeting. We separated by lots of groups. 2 or 3 GCA students and 1 Denmark student in a group. Fortunately, there are 2 Denmark students in my group. Mike ma, Justin and I leaded them saw a lot of place around NFLS. They asked me that what do you know about Denmark, I said Andersen. They said Andersen is very famous in the world. I agree, because I read Andersen’s fairy tale since I was in primary school. There are lot of story in our text book are written by Andersen. The Denmark students were friendly and like to tell jokes. When we let him to go to dormitory, I asked: Do you live in dormitory in Denmark? One of the student said yes, the other one said no, he rent a house and live with his girlfriend. “He is a lucky bastard.” Said the frist student, and all of us were laughing. When we finished looking school, we let them went out of the school and bought some stamp, they want sent post card to Denmark, so they need these stamp. But there is a little stamp left, so we went to GULOU post card office and bought enough stamp. They also want to by suit. But I really didn’t know where the suit store is. I just tell them if they went to XINJIEKOU, maybe they could find the suit store.
It time for lunch, I have something to do in the afternoon, so I have to say goodbye to them. And they were very kind and say thanks to me.

Eat at a Swiss restaurant with my friends
I went to BEBBIES which is a Swiss restaurant under the 1st floor of Orient on 15th Feb with my friends. We reached the restaurant at about half past ten in the morning on 15th February. Unluckily, the waitress told us that there were only materials of beefsteaks left in the restaurant because of the Valentine’s Day.
There are four kinds of beefsteaks that are served. I ordered the Juicy Tenderloin Beefsteak for my lunch. It looked delicious and there were some broccolis, French Fries and pepper sauce around the beefsteak as well. I love the taste of the sauce. Although it was a little bitter, I’m used to this flavor. The beefsteak was hard to chew and I only ate half of it.
On 28th February, I went to this Swiss restaurant again with Sandy in the evening. This time I tasted the real Swiss food and I ordered cheese fondue. It also served fresh fruits, hams, bread, mushrooms and potatoes. Sandy and I did not like the taste of cheese because there are some wines mixed in. It tasted strange so that we decided to eat the food without dipping the cheese. The cheese fondue is very famous and has a long history in Switzerland. But I think most Chinese are not used to putting wines into the cheese. It does not like the food that I eat before. I seldom put hams and potatoes to dip something and I think the taste will not be pure.
We went there too early first time and there was nobody. On the second time, there were some foreigners. Everybody ate and talked very quietly. There is a big toy cow in front of the restaurant and many other decorations, such as vases, drums and little people wearing Swiss style clothes. The environment is sweet and quiet and the service is great and the waitresses are very friendly. I really enjoy eating there. I will recommend my family members to go this restaurant.
